Your Music Seminar SUCCESS! XD

YES! After months of hard work, the media seminar finally ended! WHOO~ kudos to us, the CMC Year 2! 大家辛苦了！And i must say Jim Lim live performance is real good, all the audience are asking for encore! but sadly we can't have it, cos' there're still other speakers behind waiting. sadly didn't manage to get a picture with him, cos' he's not the speaker that my group found and im too shy to ask. maybe i should have crashed the photos while some of my friends were taking with him lol, but i missed it... anyways we must thank our teacher, which is a former DJ for managing to use her 人脉 to invite hong jun yang as a replacement for *ahem* (shall not mention his name here) who last minute walked out on us saying that he was sent to the hospital which we don't know if it was true. he's good looking in person, sad he only sang a few lines for us...

on a side note, a funny thing me and my coursemate noticed, we were attending to the registering counter just outside of the LT where the seminar was held, huang zhi yang (one of the speakers) was standing nearby the register counter and also nearby a toilet, then a girl walked down wanting to go to the toilet and suddenly, she stopped abruptly, looking very shocked and was very fidgety. well, she looked like she was hyperventilating lol, then a few minutes later she managed to muster up her courage and entered the toilet. then a few minutes later, she came out of the toilet and was shocked again cos' he was still outside. she was like at a lost dunno what to do. we were like laughing madly after she was gone, ok i know we're bad but it's really funny to see someone react until so exaggerated. we later found out via the feedback form that she was a fan of his, ok so that explains her behaviour.

im sure i wouldn't be like that in future if i see super junior in person, cos' i didn't react like her when i 1st met xiao gui and show lo in person. it would be bad if i was like her, cos' how would i be able to fulfill my dream of becoming an entertainment magazine reporter if i would be hyperventilating before every interview lol...

假期终于要到啦～ Oh yeah~ 但是我的假期几乎让YOG给霸占了 TT.TT 希望我的YOG志工工作是个有趣并且让我获益良多的经验。这个星期天就要到Marina Bay Sands for venue exercise，蛮兴奋的毕竟第一次到刚开幕不久的Marina Bay Sands 参观参观哈哈！

这个星期三就是由CMC year 2学生几个月来呕心沥血筹备的音乐研讨会了！大家有空的话请前来支持我们吧！在此希望这个研讨会圆满成功，加油！^^

taking a break from writing my chinese lit report to celebrate wookie's 23rd bday, here's 23 reasons why i luv him:

1. his mesmerizing vocals- it's this beautiful vocals of his that made me fall in love with kpop and wanted to find out more about super junior

2. his cute smile- it simply brightens up my day

14. he's filial- he puts on make-up when meeting his parents cos he's afraid of making them sad when they see his declining complexion due to prolong make-up

it's term break! but not really a term break!

finally got the time to revive my dead blog lol!

well, it's been 8weeks into year 2 and i'm suffocated by the amount of assignments and projects we have, it's no wonder HMS' mascot is a panda... i've been sleeping around 1am this few days, rushing reports... finally it's the 2week term break, but have to go back for project meetings and video filming and catching up with the rest of the assignments, yeah so in the end it's not really a break. guess that's the only bad thing of having no common tests, we've endless assignments to replace that -.-

im really looking forward to August, when it's semester break, whoo 2 months of hols! well even though im volunteering for YOG during that time, but i think it's gonna be fun helping out as a media ops asst., cos' it's my field of study, and im stationed at Marina Bay Sands! im very eager to see that place, haven't been there yet.

so in the mean time, back to the pile of assignments... haiz TT TT

韩国之行

一转眼在韩国的七天就过了，回家的感觉是好，可是我开始想念那里的韩式料理还有那冷死人的天气（因为新加坡太热啦！）。整个旅程很好玩，看到白白一片的雪地和樱花盛开的场景，又品尝到道地的韩式料理（就有不可缺少的泡菜、石锅拌饭、考五花肉、人参鸡汤、不同口味的火锅）。比较印象深刻的景点就有Mt. Seorak （耶～漂亮的雪景 :D ）、Everland、Lotte World （这两个地方就是themepark but 因为时间关系之玩了一些游戏）、Teddy Bear Museum （好kawaii 的 熊熊！也是《宫》的拍摄景点之一，所以就有看到《宫》系列的teddy bear。）、济州岛（盛开的樱花，好浪漫啊～！）、还有住宿的 resort 因为它的房间是那种传统的韩式屋子，睡觉时就是铺mattress 在地板，好像韩剧里的场景。哦，当然还有一些shopping 的地方，哇，真的是买啊买啊，荷包都‘出血’了！ :P 我买了t-shirt、jacket、两双鞋子、backpack，当然还有纪念品。最后一天在韩国真的有觉得‘依依不舍，舍不得’的感觉，期待下次的假期爸妈还会带我出国旅行。:D

Yo im back, long time no blog haha LOL XD

Firstly, I HERE BY WISH JJ LIN A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! :D (haha although i know he wouldn't see this lol)

Ok, i've been working for this past 2 weeks at SPH research, marketing as data entry clerk, yeah quite a boring job, but easy money earned haha. And so, i spent about $160 of my salary on a new specs which is a black plastic frame one (i've been wanting to change to a black one) with red stars at the side :) one bad thing is my degree increased :(( i think i spent too much time in front of the com, blame fb and youtube (for the idol dramas n variety shows). Ok i shall control my com usage from now on, if not once sch reopens i would staring at the com screen all day long. Speaking about sch, last sem's exam result's out, and i wouldn't say im v.happy or v.sad about the result. Cos im happy with the grades and sad with the GPA, yeah at 1st im happy to see an AD and A (the rest B and B+) and current GPA of 3.416, but once i know about the cumulative GPA of 3.333 my hapiness went down a bit cos at least i knew i improved. year 2 1st sem timetable is out, and yeah im ok with it except for tues lol, making me go back sch for only 2hrs?! walao waste my time travelling =.= the lesson better be worth my travelling time lol...

PS 1 yayye~ can't wait for this Sunday! annyeonghi Singapore, annaehasaeyo Korea! XD

小鬼黄鸿升《爱&英雄》新加坡签唱会！:D

小鬼终于来新加坡了YAY! 我整个心情可说是HIGH惨了！我还是第一次那么“疯狂”的去追星，站了足足6++个小时，熬过了日晒雨淋，脚都快要“断”了，不过很值得因为可以看到他本人（他本人更帅lor! 那带酒窝的笑容也迷死人啦！），还可以和他握手耶！:DD 签唱会总共唱了4首歌，《玩具枪与玫瑰》、《搞砸了》、《地球上最浪漫的一首歌》和《不屑》。现场都HIGH翻啦，而且签唱会也变成了大合唱了，因为大家都跟着唱起来了！

P.S. 1 怎么小鬼几乎每次签唱会都会下雨啊？！在台湾是这样，到新加坡也是这样！之前很多粉丝都在他blog留言说新加坡天气热，可是几个星期没下雨的新加坡竟在签唱会前一天开始下雨了。小鬼，你真的是“雨神”吗？！今天的《e乐大赏》可别在下雨啦！;P

It's the holidays~~!

It feels soooooo gooood to be back on the net :) im dying of boredom without fb n youtube..

Firstly, most importantly, my home's internet connection finally got fixed!!! Like finally, after 1 week without the internet, im going bored like crazy. And so 2 days after my exam, i found a data entry job at a market research company, earning $6/hr. Though it's a boring job, but it's easy money earned, just sit in air-con office and type type type, and i can imagine the money flying into my pocket every hour haha :P

Secondly, im superbly elated and excited cos they finally fulfilled their promise! :) im going out if S'pore this holiday~! Whee~ Korea here I come! :D Hope i can see the cherry blossoms in full bloom ;) Leaving s'pore on 28March night, be back in 8days time.

Thirdly, xiaogui is finally coming to s'pore whee~! im gonna go his qian chang hui next fri. it's gonna be my 1st time going to a qian chang hui haha, hope got someone can pei me (jingyi hope u can get someone to cover ur job)

虎年快乐！

先在这里向大家拜年，祝大家万事如意，身体健康！

和已往一样，初一就是到奶奶家拜年，吃火锅，然后在到外婆家。回到家呢，就是算红包的时候了, 嘻嘻～！第一天的中收获是$300++！＝）
初二就是到我小时候的奶妈家拜年，然后在到舅舅家拜年。到舅舅家拜年已经成为我们家的一个习俗了哈哈。总结两天的拜年行程，吃了很多好吃的：肉干、鲍鱼、鱼生还有过年一定会吃的糕点，收到很多压岁钱…… 要怎么花这些钱呢？哈哈，一些些拿去买专辑，一些拿去买新的NDS游戏，剩余的就存起来。

明天要到菁云老师家拜年，我还是头一次到老师的家拜年耶，我很期待！哈哈 :D

新年期间还要想着考试，可是我已经 in holiday mood liao lor，只好逼着自己闭门读书了……

很开心，我的assignment都差不多要做完了yayye~! 还有一个礼拜就是新年了，又是拿红包的时刻哈哈！新年衣服算是买好了，只是有一些年货还没办。

今天的panel test 依旧是紧张惨了，坐在panel面前，又要说话，又要管那些按钮，所以担心整个流程是否会顺利。。虽然整体上有点小瑕疵，但我觉得我的成绩应该可以吧。希望如此啦！

还有，我想在和你们分享我上radio production所製作的錄音heeee~ ;P 雖然說不上是佳作，不過im still proud of my work k haha ;P 還有一些pair work 的作品，應該是在我partner那遍吧，改次在拿過來哈哈。

3 more weeks till school holiday!!!

whooo~ so long never post liao haha!

yepp 3 more weeks till school holidays and so im getting rather busy with the assignments lately, so many assignments to hand in in the next 2 weeks *sigh* the teachers very li hai la~ put all the deadline cram together~! *sigh* then after CNY need to prepare for MEDCUS exam, but lucky 1 paper only, then after that im FREEEEE~! hahahah~!

im going off to Run For Lunch a charity run oraganized by NP HMS. As volunteers, i need to go to ECP early in the morning at 3/4am, *sigh* gonna be a sleepness night i guess, cos' before that still got briefing tonight, then plus staying overnight in sch, confirm can't sleep de.. nevermind, hope that it's fun yeah!

回到母校－－中正！

昨天中午因参加guides camp而回到中正，就有那种很熟悉的感觉，好像中学时的往事都浮现在眼前。原来我是有这么的想念中正，毕竟应该有一年没回来了吧。而且，又见到好久不见的fellow guides感觉很亲切。虽然是很累（因为 juniors nightwalk 时人手短缺，而且 guides 第一次和 NCC 合办 nightwalk，就在沟通上也出了点小问题，所以就帮忙，结果呆到凌晨4点才睡），但是还是玩得很开心（因为我们在旁吓人嘛哈哈！）。不过我发现时代真的变了，以前 nightwalk 我们都没有选择，我们就一定得参加，现在有些 juniors 他们怕，就在还没开始走就已经退出了，有些第一个 station 就放弃了。

现在就说说中正的变化，篮球场和排球场都拆了，即将重建，D&T block 也在装修，lockers 都换新的了，椅子也是换成全塑料的，桌子也盖了个 plastic cover 好像是要防止学生在桌上涂鸦。 最酷的是学校将采用用 fingerprint 的那种 security machine 来纪录学生的出席率！

总而言之，我最想念的是中正湖哈哈。

昨天在去 guides camp 之前，radio production 老师带我们到mediacorp radio station 参观，我觉得整个感觉蛮酷的，可以现场看 DJ 在值班。所以呢，昨天看到了 958DJ 德明、933DJ Jia Fa、987DJ shan wee，daniel ong，justin ang，mr young，还有一个女的，可是我认不出她是谁 =X 最后，谢谢老师请我们喝饮料！ ＝D

HO HO HO MERRY CHRISTMAS~!

YEPPP MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE HO HO HO~!

So these are the happenings during this xmas season XD

firstly, went to sing K with T03 peeps at katong there cos it's cheap compared to kbox? that's what they said, i never went sing k before so i don't really know.. well, im kinda shy when im in there, didn't really sang alot of songs, about 3 songs in total? but it's ok it's fun to hear them sing too, it's the experience that i want haha, maybe the next time i'll fang4 kai1 yi1 dian3? after k-ing, went bugis to meet up with secondary sch clique. yeah, seriously long time no see and so we went for dinner and had a little chat after that. we decided to meet up again the next day for gift exchange and also we went cycling at ECP. woohoo it's tiring but fun, im so proud of myself for cycling from ECP to Changi Beach (it's about 20km? o.o).. oh oh and i find that my cycling skills did improve haha! i can start my bike without much restarting and im much stable when cycling too hehheh :D well most importantly, we got to know how we're doing recently.

secondly, it's the T03 xmas dinner + gift exchange woohoo~! nice dinner indeed with butter crabs and chilli crabs and black pepper crabs... ... haha! after a delicious meal, we went arcade-ing and pool-ing. yeah, i found out that my pool skills didn't improve at all, no strength, miss aiming balls... but nevermind, i still had fun! lazy post photos here, so if want check out the photos? go fb and see haha..

lastly, the upcoming Cute Means Cute (it means CMC la haha ;D) xmas dinner~! qi dai-ing~! XD

oh and and im going back cchms next week haha, so long never go back liao, i miss my sch so much =X yeah, going back for guides camp, going to meet up with those old guides mates and jr., it's gonna be fun i suppose :D

CMC T03 ‘穿校服去NP’日！

哈哈！真的是很好玩的一天！我们一班说好一起穿旧校服去学校 for fun。当然拍了很多照片来做纪念。刚才written comm 的课最好笑，我们一整班16个人排好队，然后手牵手走进课室。当然，老师看傻了眼哈哈！然后，还真的像是在中学时向老师‘起立’，‘行礼’，哈哈老师也超配合的啦！

不过，在NP穿着校服走来走去，我是觉得怪怪的，还好是一大班人一起穿才没有觉得这么尴尬。

late for school...

Yes, as the title stated, I was late for school this morning. It's my 1st time being late lor =( I didn't do it purposely, I just forgot that lesson was supposed to start at 10am, I thought it was 11am. I must thank jia min for telling me that lesson start at 10, if not I'll be an hour late and not half and hour. I was eating breakfast in front of my mac, checking facebook, and it was 9 at that time. Luckily, i commented on facebook and she got me enlightened that lesson is not at 11. Lol, I rushed out immediately and it was 9.20. That explains why I reached school only at 10.30. Malu manz~ *sigh*

时光飞逝，2009年即将结束啦～！

真的难以置信，只剩一个月就要迎接2010年了！怎么时间过得这么快啊？！

想想看，我也好久好久没有和中学好友见面了，希望在21/12-1/2的两个星期假期可以找个时间和她们见见面。

2009年对我来说可以说是非常精彩的一年，因为我第一次有机会踏近摄影棚、有机会参加不同的media related events、学到了许多和媒体相关的知识，而且也认识了一群非常可爱的朋友和同学［哈哈，因为Cute Means Cute （CMC） 嘛～］。我真的真的没有后悔进这个课系。

今天整个CMC去了Asian Civilisation Museum 听一个有关于中国电影的seminar，是请到了两位中国的导演。其实，有大部分时间我不是很明白他在说什么，因为我对中华电影不是很了解，所以对我来说是蛮闷的。不过，因为听完了seminar老师要我们写关于这seminar的新闻报道，才勉强没有睡着。到了Q&A时间，我发现他们其实有时后都是答非所问。我的video production老师，也是个导演，最近也在准备拍一部电影。刚才在发问时，他似乎没有得到他满意的答案，我们都看得出来，其实他蛮失望的。所以，在这里还是别提到那两个中国导演是谁好了，免得我得罪人家。=P

2 weeks into 2nd sem

it's been 2 weeks since school reopened, and im just starting to get busy in school. Projects coming up, individual assignments and extra events that i volunteered to participate in as helpers (because of cca points la duh~!), it's gonna be a busy month.

well, web design is interesting but dreamweaver is complicated, let's just hope that i can master dreamweaver, and maybe i can design my own blogskin next time :) Next, radio production is interesting, so far i've learnt how to use audacity to edit audios. it's not difficult learning how to use this software but the process of editing is tiring and it requires lots of patience 'cos you've to listen and listen to the same thing again and again then find the right place to cut it. At the end of the day, that person's voice will just keep repeating in your head. Besides that, i've learnt that my voice does sound different when in recordings, but i find it ok. the teacher said we must learn to like our own voice, before wanting our listeners to like our voices. I shall start liking my voice from now =)
